Mercury and GECO Offer More to our Customers
Acquired by Mercury Systems in January 2019, Mesa, AZ-based GECO Incorporated, a leader in converged mission computing with built-in security and safety assurance became part of Mercury Mission Systems (MMS). GECO’s offerings perfectly augment Mercury’s mission-critical processing solutions with greater North American DO254/178C flight-safety certification experience and engineering capability. Collectively, MMS has a long program history supplying advanced “first-quality”, on-time line replacement units (LRUs) to important US Army and Air Force rotor and fixed-wing platforms. Our embedded software and hardware processing solutions for manned/unmanned aircraft and aerospace applications are found on a variety of platforms such as the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, KC-47 next generation airborne refueler and small handheld UAVs.

Together, Mercury and GECO create one of the largest safety-critical aerospace and defense processing design and manufacturing teams with extensive LRU integration capabilities. The facility in Mesa adds higher levels of subsystem integration capabilities to leverage our pre-engineered, COTS flight-safety certifiable processing, networking and software building blocks.
Affordability and Interoperability
Mercury Mission Systems’ commitment to affordable innovation is reflected in our active participation in the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) Consortium. We have adopted FACE principles and best practices to improve and standardize software standards, promoting reuse to drive performance, interoperability and capability. We are FACE software experts for avionics, real-time OS and critical avionics processing subsystems.
Custom & Off-The-Shelf Solutions
We incorporate custom and off-the-shelf solutions to meet our customers’ requirements. Our embedded software solutions span RTOS integration, partitioning, application interfaces, drivers and Board and Platform Support Packages. Our robust test simulation software supports system integration and test for situations when custom hardware is unavailable.
