Bringing enterprise-class, data center processing to defense airborne platforms to enable surveillance, signal intelligence, sensor fusion, audio/video processing and other compute-intensive applications.
Fans and other moving components increase chances of mechanical failure and lower Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF). Designed to fit in onboard plenum enclosures, RES Aero servers provide high performance computing without added fans. A fanless design produces less noise and enables operation at high altitudes, even during loss of cabin pressure, a critical requirement for many sophisticated military weapons systems
Designed to accelerate compute-intensive workloads at high altitudes, even during loss of cabin pressure, the completely fanless RES Aero XR5 servers packages dual Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v4 processors with 22 cores and 2TB DDR4 ECC memory in lightweight form factors that are fitted to onboard plenum enclosures.

Manufactured in AS5553 compliant, AS9100D facilities, RES Aero servers have passed NAVAIR MIL-STD 461 for EMI and multiple military environmental specifications. Systems feature patented memory stabilization technology that prevents disconnect during system shock and vibration.
A flexible power supply, featuring standardized connectors, supports unique aircraft voltage requirements. An array of high speed I/O and expansion choices deliver maximum flexibility for long-term deployments.
Currently deployed on airborne platforms, our rackmount servers have been certified to NAVAIR MIL-STD 461 for Electromagnetic Inference (EMI) and multiple military specifications, ensuring uptime and availability in any flight environment. RES Aero servers feature a patented memory stabilization technology that prevents disconnect during system shock and vibration. The fanless design increases system longevity and reduces potential long-term maintenance costs.
RES Aero servers can be customized to meet specific aircraft computing, security and space requirements. A flexible power supply, featuring standardized connectors supports unique voltage requirements such as 270VDC to enable deployment in a wide array of platforms. Specialized front access power supply I/O and LED indicators simplify maintenance by providing insights into system health and power usage. Additional features, testing and certifications are available.
