All for One, One for All

 

A few months ago, Mercury’s leadership and other team members rolled up their sleeves and quickly created a COVID-19 response team. With no idea how rapidly the situation would evolve, this team worked tirelessly to help ensure the safety and livelihood of all through ongoing initiatives, including a $1M employee relief fund, an additional 120 hours of COVID sick pay, increased time-and-a-half pay to double-time, free family meals for employees through UberEats, free outplacement services for family members who lost their jobs, and so much more.

Everyone has been overwhelmed by the feedback and stories from our Mercury team members expressing gratitude and optimism for OneMercury.  Here are a few of the messages we’ve received:

  • I can’t tell you how grateful I am to be a part of a company who puts its employees first. I am truly humbled by the thoughtfulness and generosity displayed by Mercury.  
  • Thank you for taking such good care of all of the employees at Mercury. Your plan couldn’t have been executed any better and because of your quick actions and early planning, I was able to better concentrate on my family and work.
  • During these times, your email and video updates have been extremely helpful and informative and have given the Oxnard team a stronger feeling of security and confidence in the longevity and success of the company.
  • The communication and support that Mercury has provided is second to none. I can’t believe what Mercury is doing – I am so thankful and proud to be working here.
  • Mark Alsett’s regular communication is right to the point, and helps put my team and myself at ease. The leadership team is side by side with us – they really do have our back!
  • Our management meetings make me feel like the company really cares about our employees, and more importantly is working to protect, support and develop us.
  • The regular town hall meeting, skip level meetings, and emails are fantastic, and very well received. This level of communication goes above and beyond anything the team expected.
  • In the current environment my team is very concerned but the support we have received and the precautions that have been taken have helped us focus on building our products.
  • Mercury has stepped up big time. They have really shown what our culture is about!
