Webinar: Enabling Technologies for Advanced Electronic Warfare

February 8, 2023

Electronic warfare (EW) is one of the most computationally demanding applications that confronts aerospace and defense designers of embedded computing systems, power control and conditioning components, real-time software, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning.

Many new enabling technologies are coming online to help EW systems designers, such as fast general-purpose graphics processing (GPGPU) chips, multicore general-purpose processors, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), SOSA-aligned processor cards, high-performance embedded computing enclosures, fast interconnects, and switched-fabric networks.

Join Mercury's Bob Sgandurra, senior principal product manager, along with an industry panel of experts to discuss some of the latest and most advanced enabling technologies for EW today and what is expected in the future. Attendees will learn about what constitutes the state-of-the art in EW enabling technologies, today's demands of EW systems integrators, and the internal and government-funded research and development programs that will yield the EW enabling technologies of the future.

In addition, attendees will learn about the potential benefits and drawbacks of how today's open-systems standards such as SOSA, MOSA, CMOSS, FACE, and Host are influencing EW design today and in the future.
