Mercury Defense Systems’ expertise in developing EW, SIGINT,
radar and EO/IR subsystems also extends to test and simulation. Our EW-DRFM
technologies are used to create sophisticated radar environmental simulators
(RES), and provide a critical function in exercising EW and SIGINT systems to
produce probability-of-intercept metrics.
Our Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS)-based tuners and
exciters have been used to construct test platforms for COMs systems in
addition to arbitrary wave form generation for EW and radar systems. Our
embedded compute subsystems have been implemented in missile test and
simulation systems for major defense primes. At any given time, Mercury is
actively developing subsystems with intensive requirements for a wide
cross-section of defense programs and application spaces. Test and simulation
is a necessary component of that process and stands alone as a complete
offering from Mercury Defense Systems.
