Notre Dame Cristo Rey High School

Notre Dame Cristo Rey High School was founded in 2004. Their mission is to provide low-income students the opportunity to receive a Catholic education and the chance to be accepted at colleges and universities. Each student at the school works to pay their tuition, through a corporate sponsor of the corporate work/study program.

We are proud to sponsor the students of Notre Dame High School and employ several students every year. These students work to learn, building connections in society which opens doors to a successful future.  Since its first student enrolled 13 years ago, every Notre Dame Cristo Rey student has not only received their high school diploma, they have also been accepted into a 4-year college.

Robotics

Mercury sponsors the Groton Dunstable High School Robotics team, fondly known as “The Robotomies”. The team is gearing up for the 2018 FIRST Robotics “FIRST Power Up” competitions for 2018. We are looking forward to following their success! 

Jr. Achievement Program

The Jr. Achievement Program alongside thousands in education, business and volunteer partners help to give kids the tools to succeed. Kids learn the importance of money management, workforce readiness, science, technology, engineering and math. Every year, Mercury sponsors the Jr. Achievement Program, Technology Shop to help build technology skills for kids in the area. The Jr. Achievement Technology Shop in Phoenix, AZ offers a fun place for kids to experiment on technology such as thermal cameras and solar panels.

Soldiers' Angels

Mercury became Community Partners with the Soldiers’ Angels this holiday season to provide stuffed stockings and cards for our troops. The Soldiers’ Angels organization provides aid and comfort to the men and women of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, their families, and a growing veteran population.

In 2017, the Soldiers’ Angels Stockings Program set a new record and sent 13,000 stuffed holiday stockings! 

The Blue Star Mothers

Mercury partners with the Blue Star Mothers to support several causes that benefit U.S. service members. Over the summer 2017, the team sponsored Sgt. Seth Bai, USMC (ret) in the Run to Home Base, a 5k/9k road race which benefits our nation’s Veterans and Service Members.

The team in Andover held a "Red, White or Brew" beer and wine tasting fundraiser and enjoyed locally brewed beer and wine. Seth attended the event and spoke about the reason he is runs: to help raise awareness for PTSD.

St. Mary's Food Bank

Our team in Phoenix, AZ filled 5 boxes with food for St. Mary’s Food Bank totaling 500 pounds, providing over 500 meals to people in need! St. Mary’s is on the front lines of the regional response to hunger in a state where one in six people are struggling to meet basic needs, and facing hunger on a daily basis. Children and the elderly are especially vulnerable. Of the food pantry recipients that St. Mary’s serves each month, almost 50% are children.
