AVR8411 Video Recorder
The AVR8411 Video Recorder is a 4th generation, single-channel digital video recorder in a compact Dzus-style housing. From 1080p60 to standard definition NTSC or PAL, the highly capable AVR8411 can record the wide range of video, audio, and data signals integrated in advanced air, land, and sea platforms.
Event marking, KLV data, image snapshots, remote operation, jog, playback, and playback-while-record are just a few of the advanced features available with the AVR8411.
The AVR8411 can be controlled via the front panel of the DVR or via an onscreen display. The front panel is a high resolution, NVIS compatible, graphical display used to provide a wide range of status information to the operator of the single-channel recorder. Mercury Systems has created an easy-to-use interface for the AVR8411 that allows operators to choose 1 of 4 selectable SD and 1 of 2 selectable HD video inputs.
FRONT PANEL CONTROL
The mode control action knob provides a simple, single-action input to Play, Stop, Record and Reach-Back-Record video. Other bezel buttons allow users to quickly mark events, take snapshots, mute/unmute audio recording. Advanced setup and features are accessed through the DVR onscreen menu, navigated by the front panel encoder knob.
PLAYBACK WHILE RECORD
The AVR8411 delivers the ability to review any recorded video or snapshots while continuing to record live video. Need a quick look replay of the active recording? It is as easy as pressing the Play button to jump 15 seconds in the past. Use the encoder knob jog or rewind/fast forward buttons for additional control. Need to compare saved video or imagery of site? Press the file list button to find and select the corresponding file and replay next to live video.
ON-SCREEN OVERLAYS
The AVR8414 generates multiple status overlays to display system, recording, playback, and KLV metadata status in an easy-to-interpret format. Operators can quickly toggle overlays on/off by pressing the encoder knob on the front of the DVR.
STREAMING VIDEO FEATURES
The AVR8411 is more than a simple video/audio recorder. It can be used to generate and capture h.264 video streams on platform Ethernet networks. Steam live h.264 video from any of the 6 video inputs to UDP single or multi-cast clients. Recorded video files saved on any of the connected media drives can also be selected for stream-while-record. Select existing h.264 streams, generated by other networked equipment, to capture as transport stream (.ts) files along-side recorded video.
