AM3138 Analog Voltage Tunable 1.3 GHz to 3.25 GHz Band Stop MMIC Filter

Analog Voltage Tunable 1.3 GHz to 3.25 GHz Notch Filter Bank

AM3138 is an analog voltage-tunable notch filter bank covering the 1.3 GHz to 3.25 GHz frequency range. The AM3138 offers two MMIC chips covering 1.3 GHz to 2.5 GHz and 1.8 GHz to 3.25 GHz for fine granularity within the AM3138’s operating range. Two separate tune voltages provide precise control of center frequency and notch bandwidth. The AM3138 is packaged in a 4mm QFN and operates over the -40C to +85C temperature range.

Evaluation board includes SMA input and output connectors and SMA voltage input unless otherwise requested. Evaluation board includes AM3138 and trace calibration path.

The AM3138 is one in a family of analog voltage-tunable notch filters offered from Mercury that covers the 0.7 GHz to 6.0 GHz frequency range. In this family there is the AM3137 that covers 0.7 GHz to 2.0 GHz, the AM3139 that covers 2.5 GHz to 6.0 GHz, and the AM3129 which is a switched filter bank covering 0.7 GHz to 6.0 GHz.

This family of parts provides an excellent filtering solution for a receiver or transceiver requiring flexible center frequency removal, high dynamic range, low insertion loss, and small size, low weight, and low power consumption (low SWAP).
