AM3129 Analog Voltage Tunable 1.0 GHz to 6.0 GHz Band Stop MMIC Filter

Analog Voltage Tunable 1.0 GHz to 6.0 GHz Notch Filter Bank

AM3129 is an analog voltage-tunable notch filter bank covering the 1.0 to 6.0 GHz frequency range.  Six notch filters and two bypass paths with SP8T switches on the input and output are contained in the multi-chip module (MCM).  Two separate tune voltages provide precise control of center frequency and notch bandwidth. The AM3129 is packaged in a 9mm QFN and operates over the -40C to +85C temperature range.

Evaluation board includes SMA input and output connectors and SMA voltage input unless otherwise requested. AM3129 evaluation board also includes DIP switch for control of the filter band settings. This switch is included with the evaluation board unless otherwise requested. AM3129 offers two bypass paths, one of these is directly connected on the evaluation board and the other bypass paths is connected to external connectors for connection of external filter. Evaluation board includes AM3129.

The AM3129 is one in a family of analog voltage-tunable notch filters offered from Mercury that covers the 0.7 GHz to 6.0 GHz frequency range. In addition to the AM3129 in this family there is the AM3137 that covers 0.7 GHz to 2.0 GHz, the AM3138 that covers 1.3 GHz to 3.25 GHz, and the AM3139 that covers 2.5 GHz to 6.0 GHz.

This family of parts provides an excellent filtering solution for a receiver or transceiver requiring flexible center frequency removal, high dynamic range, low insertion loss, and small size, low weight, and low power consumption (low SWAP).
