Mercury's rugged edge servers accelerate artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, signals intelligence (SIGINT) and C4ISR tactical edge computing workloads. Our lightweight and compact form factors are certified to multiple military and industrial environmental specifications to ensure uptime and availability in any environment. Advanced thermal and mechanical design features deliver superior resilience to g-force, altitude, dust, corrosion, sand, humidity, salt, fog and temperature extremes.
Innovative shock pins and memory/ PCIe retention and vibration dampeners prevent intermittent lockups or system failure. A specially designed dust cover offers additional protection against the elements. Flexible AC/DC power and mobile carry case options allow you to compute on the move and keep systems within your line of sight.
Growing data loads and expanding neural networks require more storage at the edge. Our rugged edge servers maximize SAS, SATA or NVME storage capacity with multiple hot-swappable 2.5”, 3.5” and EDSFF drives so you can process and analyze data as it comes in without exhausting resources. Read/write switches prevent accidental rewrite and FIPS 140-2, NIAP-certified secure storage options protect critical data. Plus, our servers are optimized to increase efficiency and lower latency for software-defined storage (SDS) or converged architectures.
Higher performance shouldn’t mean louder IT. Mercury’s rugged edge servers are tested and certified to minimize airborne and structural-borne noise. Our patented baffles optimize airflow to the most-necessary components, reducing server noise while ensuring maximum performance in heated or enclosed environments. A system control module allows remote control of server acoustics.
When the mission is critical, shutdown is not an option. Our front-access BIOS battery simplifies maintenance and enables replacement without system shutdown. Hot-swappable modules, drives and dual redundant power supplies let servers remain operational during upgrades and transport. We work closely with customers to ensure each server or server stack maximizes efficiency, minimizes latency and builds in the redundancy you need so you can do more in the field with greater peace of mind.
Mercury’s rugged edge servers are designed and manufactured in AS5553-compliant, AS9100D- and ISO9001-certified U.S. facilities. Server designs and confidential information are safeguarded against potential cyberattacks through Mercury’s DFARS 252.204-7012- and NIST SP 800-171A-compliant IT infrastructure. To guarantee performance, each server undergoes our in-house multi-step electrical, mechanical and environmental quality checks and tests including a 24-hour burn-in test.
