AM1265 is an integrated low-loss bypass, low noise amplifier, and digital step attenuator solution operating from DC to 8 GHz.

The threefold functionality is all contained in a single 4mm QFN footprint which is a dramatic reduction in size as compared to a conventional, discrete implementation.

 The high gain, low noise amplifier path offers 20dB of gain with 2dB noise figure. The bypass path offers a minimum insertion loss (1.4dB) signal path to save on DC power consumption when gain is not required. Finally, a 0.5dB LSB digital step attenuator path provides precise gain control up to 31.5dB of total attenuation. AM1265 operates on a single positive supply voltage and single positive control voltage.

Evaluation board includes SMA input and output connectors and the SMA voltage input unless otherwise requested. AM1265 evaluation board also includes DIP switch for control of bypass and step attenuator functionality. This switch is included with the evaluation board unless otherwise requested. Evaluation board includes AM1265.
