Purpose-built for space and radiation-intense environments, Mercury's solid-state data recorders are the first of their kind, leveraging the VPX form factor for agile interoperability and accelerated system design. Advanced error correction (ECC) algorithms contain high-reliability defect mitigation to combat ionizing radiation. Automatic replacement of worn NAND flash blocks and redundant NAND flash devices support long-term data integrity.

Designed in a compact 3U form factor with a blazing-fast SRIO processor, 480 GB SLC NAND flash memory and the most powerful error correction code (ECC) available, the radiation-tolerant RH3480 enables data-intensive processing and storage in applications with potential radiation exposure, including LEO satellites.

With extremely reliable, high-performance Serial RapidIO (SRIO) technology and our proprietary horizontal error correction for data integrity, Mercury's radiation-tolerant SSDRs enable on-orbit sensor data processing and storage in a 3U industry-standard VPX 48.2 form factor. The microprocessor and software-free design provide precise, long-term operation in harsh environments, whether on Earth or in space.
